Methyl orange (MO) dye waste in the aquatic system has become an interesting issue that has been governed by increasing dye industrial practices. Treatment of dye wastes by adsorption has become an efficient method to overcome dye pollution, including MO. In recent years, magnetic materials have been used as adsorbents, however, there is a shortage to use for a long period of time. The present study investigated on a laboratory scale the ability of iron sand magnetic material-silica-zeolite (MM-SiO2-NZ) as an adsorbent of MO dye in order to distinguish their adsorption characteristics.
